Employee travel best practices when using travel privileges
The Employee Travel team would like to remind employees of some best travel practices when using standby privileges. These practices help support the operation, reach our OTP and provide a good travel experience for our customers.
- Number of bookings: As per ETS, employees may not register for more than one itinerary, whether identical or different, at one time. Employees may also not use different priorities to register for the same flight or itinerary. This is to ensure the system does not get overloaded and that employees have good visibility of seats that are available.
- Check Luggage: Employees must check their luggage when asked to do so. When we do not check our bags, revenue customers may be the ones who need to instead, possibly affecting their experience flying with us.
- Zonal boarding: All employees on standby or POS passes must follow the zonal boarding on their boarding pass and only board when their zone is called.
