United Airlines is experiencing issues for bookings made through myIDTravel

On some random NIET bookings, when the PNR is created in the UA GDS sometimes a ticket is not issued.

This leads to OAL employees/family arriving at the gate, and being unable to travel because they have no ticket. The issue has been reported to myIDTravel and the UA internal IT teams is investigation.

Since this appears to be a random issue, we suggest that if employees book travel on United and do not receive the required ticket numbers after booking, that before going to the airport, they should attempt to retrieve the booking and check in on the United app or on united.com.

If either system tells them their booking is not ticketed, or if an agent tells them the same thing, they should simply attempt to purchase the tickets again with a new booking.

If a ticket was not issued for the original booking, then any charge appearing on their credit card will drop off automatically 7 days after the booking was made.
