Service Charges Reductions for Parent and Partner Travel

We know how valued employee travel privileges are and based on your feedback, Air Canada is excited to announce that the pricing model has been dramatically reduced for our parents and partners.

Starting today, you can enjoy savings on parent and partner travel. As employees, we pay a flat fare per leg (segment fee) when using our travel privileges. However, parents, non-dependent children and accompanied travel partners (excluding nominated partners) pay higher segment fees that vary depending on the distance travelled.

Prices previously ranged from $27 to $138 CAD. Under our revised pricing model, these fees are reduced, with the new range per segment from $10 to $20 CAD. These new fees are in effect for all travel that begins on or after today, May 21, 2024. Make sure to visit the Employee Travel Site (ETS) for a full breakdown of our updated pricing model.
