Temporary embargo for standby travel on Lisbon flights (AC810 and AC811)

As a result of congestion challenges at the Lisbon airport, we will be implementing an embargo on employee travel for Lisbon flights on select dates. Tomorrow, Friday, May 2 is the first impacted date (YYZ-LIS), and dates will be affected throughout the summer.

If there is a date when you believe our flight should be operating and you are unable to see it on the Employee Travel Site, it is due to this embargo.

For departures from Toronto to Lisbon, the embargo will apply on select Thursdays and Fridays until October 24,2025.

For departures from Lisbon to Toronto, the embargo has been lifted.

If you are planning to travel to or from Lisbon, please be aware of these restrictions, consider travel to or from another airport instead, and/or on another airline. Keep in mind that other airlines may also be required to put an embargo on employee travel in place, and you should always check the availability and conditions of standby ZED fare travel with other airlines prior to relying on it.
