Switch Health*
Employees who are Aeroplan Members can purchase Switch Health’s remote testing collection kits (Antigen or RT-LAMP) and book in-clinic Antigen or PCR tests (various locations in Ontario as well as clinics in Halifax, and Calgary) at a preferred pricing by following these steps:
- Employees can visit https://switchhealth.ca/en/partners/aeroplan-members/ (non Aeroplan Members can also purchase the remote testing collection kits however not at the preferred pricing).
- The pricing for Air Canada Employees is as follows when the promo code “ACEMPLOYEES” is used:
- Rapid Antigen Test Kit (contains two tests): $60.04 + earn 500 pts
- RT-LAMP Test Kit: $119 + earn 500 pts
- In Clinic Rapid Antigen Test: $25 + earn 500 pts

- Employees may not share these promo codes broadly and will be asked for proof of employment when at in-clinic bookings. Household family members may receive the employee pricing if booking the test with the employee (employee is also being tested).

Employees are strongly encouraged to conduct the RT-LAMP test with the greatest window of pre-departure time within the guidelines of your destination country. Please note that approximately 1-2% of the RT-LAMP test devices can malfunction. In the rare event of a device malfunction, Switch Health will reimburse the impacted RT-LAMP test device and work with you to find an alternative local testing solution.
Employees can create an ASMO account if they do already have one at https://portal.switchhealth.ca before arriving.
- When the result is ready, a text or email will be sent to the employee that the result is posted and can be accessed via ASMO.

Make sure that you complete your test with supervised proctoring. To do so, select “Yes” under the “Supervised Test for Work, School, or Travel?” section on the Cue Health App.

Biron*
Air Canada employees and their immediate family (spouse, children, parents) have access to a 10% discount on all COVID-19 tests offered by Biron at all points of service offering these tests (including the one at Montreal airport). The employee or immediate family member must provide the employee number at the time of the appointment (the employee does not need to be present).
Three scenarios are possible:
- Collection for patients without any symptoms or close contact with a case of COVID-19 (e.g. for travel, surgery, etc.)
- Collection for patients who have symptoms similar to COVID-19 or who have had close contact
- For these first two scenarios, below is the process to follow:
- Go to biron.com/en/laboratory/covid-19/ and select “For travelers” or “non-travellers”
- Select the type of test/location and proceed to “Book an appointment”.
- Answer the COVID triage questions.
- Select the service point and time slot.
- Complete the registration form.
- Proceed to payment and use promotional code ACBIRON10.
- Sampling for patients who have received a positive rapid antigen self-test result (or other form of COVID-19 screening)
