Reunion Pass
The Reunion pass is a one-time gift of positive space travel from Calin as a thank you for your dedication to Air Canada through this very challenging past year.
Positive space pass travel is quite different from space available pass travel as any reservation blocks seats available for sale. The Reunion pass is intended to provide you and your companion of choice with one (1) roundtrip ticket to the destination of your choice. With positive space travel, special conditions apply:
Scope & Eligibility
Applies to active/leave/laid off and furloughed employees of Air Canada, Air Canada Rouge and Air Canada Vacations who have worked between December 31, 2019 and December 8, 2020, with the following exclusions;
Any employee who departed under a Universal Mitigation Program (UMP) in 2020, an Involuntary Separation package (ISP), and who did not meet eligible retiree criteria, or a Voluntary Separation Package (VSP), who do not meet eligible retiree criteria.

In some cases, you may see there is cabin space availability, however, if you are unable to book it, it means that the designated booking class (different than booking space) in the Y cabin is not available. You may not book two one-ways.
Exceptions & Unique Situations
Oversell situations: It is possible that positive-space pass holders be denied boarding in the event of an oversell situation.
Billing: Trips may or may not happen as planned, which is why you are only charged for trips taken (not for booked PNRs). As you board a flight (planned or unplanned), a "record" of travel is automatically generated and billing will be for the flights actually flown even if they are not those you intended for travel.
Regardless of the boarding priority you booked or used, billing will occur upon completion of one of the following, whichever comes first:
- You have returned to your point of origin, or;
- 30 days have elapsed since the travel began, or;
- You have completed eight segments of travel
This policy is subject to change without notice.
